My cultural background is from India but my grandparents migrated to Singapore 110 years ago. With my ongoing engagement and strong working relationships with the new and emerging (CaLD) communities, many of the respective Government and Non-Government service providers often seek my advice and assistance to improve the lack of support by identifying more appropriate ways to implement services, and awareness. I am very confident that I can place the City of Canning at the very forefront of the essential services required by the local residence which might break down many barriers in regards to preconceived thoughts of City of Canning.
