Prior to moving to Perth, I taught in India. I have an Honours and a Master’s degree in Political Science and Education. My cultural heritage is from India. I will bring new insights to the programs being planned and delivered by the city. I see things differently and can help engage the huge Indian community that lives here. Coming from a modern, thriving, diverse, democratic country with an ancient culture and history, I encourage people from diverse cultural backgrounds to share their histories, experiences and participate in their celebrations. I support and participate in events organised by the many Indian associations.
