Got something to say about waste in the City of Canning? We want to hear from you!

We’re really keen to understand what it is like to deal with your waste in the City of Canning. In particular, how hard or easy it is to dispose of household waste using your green and yellow lid bins and why.

This survey is being conducted to help us better understand what City of Canning residents do with their waste, what they recycle and how to make it easier for people to recycle. Your responses will help our goal of improving recycling services for our residents.

All participants will go into the draw to win one of two $100 Visa gift cards. While participation is voluntary, we’d very much appreciate your views. Your feedback is both completely confidential and anonymous. Please note this survey is for City of Canning residents only.

    Recycling Survey

    Welcome to the survey! This survey will take around 10 minutes to complete. 

    The City of Canning is working to make it easier for residents to put things that can be recycled into the recycling bin. This survey aims to help us understand what people put in the recycling bin currently and how to encourage people to only put things that can be recycled into the recycling bin. Please note the survey is for City of Canning residents only.

    The survey is divided into three sections – it starts with questions about your attitudes and behaviour, asks for your reaction to some new ideas, and also some demographic questions.
