Sister Kates Home Kids Aboriginal Corporation- Cultural Walkshops on the Bush Block

Join Noongar guides for an immersive walk, uncovering the rich cultural history of the land and the significance of local trees. Each walk offers stories and insights into the connection between people and nature.

These events are being held as part of the WA Tree Festival, to share the value and importance of trees. Trees are essential in a warming climate – they cool us down, provide habitat for wildlife and make our neighbourhoods look and feel better. Although most local government areas are working hard to plant trees on streets and in parks, we are still losing large amounts of tree canopy each year, especially in areas with lots of development.
