Blacksmith Street Lemonade Stand

A street meeting was held on Blacksmith Street Wednesday 28 September where the Neighbourhood team engaged approximately 10 residents to attend to discuss the event. Home made lemonade was provided as an example of activity ideas residents could host on their own driveway during the Play Streets. Even during this meeting, residents who didn’t know each other were meeting and finding common ground with each other. The residents are very excited for the upcoming Play Streets and were coming up with their own ideas on how they’d like to be involved.
