What's Happening?

The City of Canning (the City) is seeking feedback from residents and the community on the proposed construction of a new 2.5m wide shared path along Killara Drive and Rostrata Avenue.

These shared paths are part of the City's Cycling and Walking Route 3, which connects the City Centre to Rossmoyne via Lynwood, Parkwood, and Willetton.

The project is jointly funded and delivered by the City and the State Government through the Department of Transport's Western Australian Bicycle Network Grants Program.

This project aims to improve amenity, safety, and accessibility for all path users along Killara Drive and Rostrata Avenue. It also aims to promote safe and active transport to encourage active travel modes and connectivity with public transport.
