Consultation has concluded


Council has recently initiated the above amendment to Local Planning Scheme No. 42, which is being advertised for public comment in accordance with the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015 (PD Regulations).

The scheme amendment proposes reclassifying Lot 92 (No. 12-14) Coulson Way, Canning Vale from ‘Public Open Space’ to ‘General Industry’ as shown on the Scheme Amendment No. 2 Map.

The Scheme Amendment No. 2 Report and Maps are available for inspection:

  • Online in the Documents section on the right, and
  • at the City’s Administration Building, 1317 Albany Highway, Cannington, between the hours of 8.15am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Should you wish to make comment on the proposal, submissions must be completed on Submission Form 3A and forwarded in writing to the Chief Executive Officer, Locked Bag 80, Welshpool 6986 or via e-mail to strategic.planning@canning.wa.gov.au prior to 11 June 2021.

Please ensure that you quote the scheme amendment number in any correspondence to the City.
