CALL FOR ENTRIES: NAIDOC Art Exhibition 2024

The City of Canning invites Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists to submit their artworks in our annual NAIDOC Week Art Exhibition, on display from Saturday 6 July to Sunday 14 July in Riverton Library.
The theme for NAIDOC Week 2024 is ‘Keep the Fires Burning’. Submitting your artworks is free, and artists may offer their artwork for sale during the exhibition.
Artworks representing the NAIDOC Week theme ‘Keep the Fires Burning’ is highly encouraged. We will be accepting artworks from the following categories:
- painting
- drawing
- 3D sculpture / textile
- mixed media
- photography
- digital art
- carving
Please note that artworks are to be no larger than 1.5m x 1.5m and you may submit no more than two pieces. If multiple pieces are submitted, it will be up to the City of Canning to decide what is displayed.

Submissions for the exhibition close 5pm, Wednesday 26 June 2024.
We encourage artists to drop their artwork off at Riverton Library, 67 Riley Road, Riverton between Monday 1 July and Wednesday 3 July 9 am -5pm. We can organise for your artwork to be collected if required.
Participating artists and the community are welcome to attend an Opening Morning Tea, 10am - 11am on Tuesday 9 July 2024.
