Consultation has concluded
The City is undertaking a six month trial of dog exercise areas in seven parks in Canning Vale. The trial is running from Tuesday 7th February to Tuesday 8th August 2017.
From Wednesday 9 August 2017 all dogs in public open space in Canning Vale will be required to be on-leash, except in Clifton Park.
At the Ordinary Council Meeting of 20 June 2017 Council resolved to adjourn the debate regarding the officer’s Report - The Establishment of Additional Dog Exercise Areas in Canning Vale, and will consider the Report at the September Council meeting. Council’s decision will be followed by a 28 day public notice period, as required under the Dog Act 1976.
