A new watercraft storage shed is set to be constructed at Kent Street Weir, south-east of the Canning River Eco Education Centre (CREEC).
The project will facilitate watercraft storage for the Canning River Canoe Club and improved access to the river. Accompanying landscape modifications will include a new pathway to the river, washdown area and native planting.
Works will commence during early May 2025 and conclude late July/early August 2025. Please refer to the "Work Area Diagram" in the "Key Documents" section of this page for the extents of works.
Please be aware of construction activity during this time and observe all signage as well as safety fencing. We will endeavor to keep noise and disruption to a minimum. Thank you for your patience during these works.
