As part of the City's Urban Forest Strategy, EcoConnect is an exciting event that brings together community and nature for a sustainable and flourishing future.

Join us on Sunday 5 May, at the Civic Amphitheatre and Gardens for a day filled with green initiatives and opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals. And importantly, the opportunity to collect YOUR FREE TREE, to enhance your home and garden.

Trees are essential in a warming climate – they cool us down, provide habitat for wildlife and make our neighbourhoods look and feel better.  Although most local government areas are working hard to plant trees on streets and in parks, we are still losing large amounts of tree canopy each year, especially in areas with lots of development. 

WA Tree Festival brings local councils and community groups together to help share the value of trees collectively.
