Climate Ready Canning - Our Vision for a Climate Resilient Canning

Let's work together for climate action!

The City of Canning has developed a new and ambitious position to address climate change so that together with our community, we can take strong action on climate change and create a thriving, sustainable and climate resilient Canning.

This was previously referred to as a Climate Change and Energy Transformation Strategy, but we have now re-framed this as ‘Climate Ready Canning – Our Vision for a Climate Resilient City’.

Thank you to everyone who completed our online surveys, participated in community workshops and provided feedback throughout 2023 and 2024. We would like to express our deep gratitude, your input has significantly contributed to shaping our Vision.
